Clutch Picks ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide:
- Email address (for account creation and login)
- Username (displayed on the leaderboard)
- Feedback messages submitted through the app
- Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details)
- Prize redemption information (e.g. PayPal address, W-9 for cash prizes)
Information collected automatically:
- Sports picks and game predictions you make in the app
- Streak and win/loss history
- Device push notification token (to send you pick results and updates)
- Notification preferences you set in the app
- App usage data (e.g. which tab you're on, when you last opened the app)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate the game and display leaderboards
- To send push notifications about pick results, leaderboard updates, and month-end prizes (you can opt out in Settings)
- To process subscriptions and prize payments
- To respond to feedback and support requests
- To improve the app and diagnose technical issues
- To comply with legal obligations (e.g. IRS reporting for prizes ≥ $600)
3. Advertising
Free users see banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve ads. We have configured AdMob to request non-personalized ads only. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. Subscribers do not see ads.

4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your session credentials are stored in encrypted storage on your device using Expo SecureStore and are never transmitted in plain text.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Stripe — subscription payment processing (web)
- RevenueCat — subscription management and purchase verification (iOS)
- Google AdMob — advertising (free users only)
- Expo — push notification delivery
- Legal authorities — if required by law
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and associated data (via Settings → Delete Account)
- Opt out of push notifications (via Settings → Notification Preferences)
- Request a copy of your data by contacting us
7. Children's Privacy
Clutch Picks is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will promptly delete the account.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or financial compliance (e.g. prize records).
No Guarantee of Data Preservation. We do not guarantee that any gameplay data — including pick history, streak records, leaderboard standings, or statistics — will be retained for any specific period of time. We reserve the right to delete, purge, or reset data at any time without notice, including as a result of system maintenance, technical issues, or business decisions. You should not rely on Clutch Picks as a permanent record of your activity.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
